READ THIS FIRST: PART ONE
Tonight's earlier blog post, we learned where Callie has been, but where is Callie now?
As a few of you might know, I have been preparing to go on a missions trip to Haiti for several months now, and that time is finally upon us! If plans had gone as they were supposed to, I would currently be sitting in the Miami airport reading The Omen Machine (super excited that I finally picked it up when I was in Colorado Springs last week). However, plans do not always go as they should. Well, we will get to that whole plans not going as they planned, for now we will discuss the rest of everything.

TUESDAY:
I got my hair did (it desperately needed it...) and then went out to dinner with my ladies (y'all the best) and then took off for Oklahoma City to stay with Cirissa!
I took photos on snapchat, but forgot to save any, sad sad day... so when I go back through I will take one, don't worry.
WEDNESDAY:
I woke up, ran a couple errands, and drove to Louisiana!
Here they are! David and Dara! I didn't get a selfie with David yet, so a cuddling photo of him and Copper will have to do for now.
To answer the question that many people have asked me, YES, Copper remembered me! It's been two years since I have seen him, and David and Dara said he's been and old mean grouch and doesn't like anyone, but when I came in he jumped on me and was almost as excited as I was. For those of you who know me, you will understand how happy that made me.
This is what I woke up to this morning. Oh how I love this dog.
Here's another photo of David chilling on the couch.
Here is the size comparison of my baggage. On the left is the bag for my few days I will be traveling around in the states, and on the right is my small bag for the entire time I'm in Haiti, along with my backpack. Ridiculous I know.
THURSDAY: Our day to fly out of Shreveport and head to Haiti. However, due to weather flights were cancelled, sad face.
(This photo to the right is the response I got from some of the girls when I told them my flight was cancelled.)
So tonight I am another night in Shreveport (hence me playing the catch up game with the blog tonight, extra time on my hands)
Friday we drive to some other town close to here, fly to Atlanta, then fly to New York, then fly to the Dominican Republic. So it should make for an interesting time.
FRIDAY:
It is officially Friday morning, I am sitting in the guest room at David and Dara's lovely house on the lake, and I am listening to the rain pour outside. In about 10 hours I will be leaving Shreveport, and 4 hours after that I will finally be on my way to Haiti! It's been an eventful trip thus far, and it has barely begun. I will continue to keep y'all updated as I can on my trip, if you've made it this far congratulations! It's been probably the most wordy blog post thus far.
OTHER EXCITING NEWS, I have decided to take my camera with me, it's a last minute decision, and I know I would have regretted not taking it. So be on the lookout for photos of Haiti upon my return in a week or so.
I love y'all! I miss y'all!
Big shoutout to the girls back at home chilling in my house without me.
